First, Please Ensure Safety

Regardless of an accident or breakdown, please prioritize the following for safety:

• Ensure the safety of yourself and all passengers.
• Take measures to prevent secondary accidents (move the vehicle to a safe location, set up flares or a warning triangle).
• Check for any injuries.
• If there are injured persons, call emergency services (Tel: 119) immediately and prioritize rescue.
• Regardless of the severity or type of accident, notify the police (Tel: 110).
  (Note: Police notification is legally required in the event of a traffic accident.)

After these steps, during daytime, please contact our company at 090-xxxx-xxxx.
If you cannot reach us at night, please contact Nishinihon Jidosha Kyosai (0120-242-365).
Note: In case of night incidents, please also contact our company the following morning.

Important Notes in Case of an Accident or Breakdown

Please also observe the following:

• Do not take the vehicle to a repair shop without prior permission.
• Even if the vehicle is drivable, avoid moving it excessively before contacting us.
• Actions that may invalidate insurance or coverage are strictly prohibited (driving under the influence, unauthorized subletting, allowing anyone other than the registered renter/driver to operate the vehicle, etc.).

Information to Confirm During an Accident

Please check and record the following:
Regarding the other party:

• When: Date and time of the accident
• Where: Location of the accident
• Who: Address, name, contact information, license plate number, and insurance company of the other party
• How: Circumstances of the accident (take photos of the scene, skid marks, damaged areas, etc.)
• Witnesses: Whether there are witnesses, their addresses, names, and contact information
• Police: Name of the police station and officer in charge
• Additional Info: Name and contact information of the repair shop and hospital if applicable

⚠ Important:
Do not settle with the other party at the scene.
If the other party makes any claim, respond with:
“We will consult with the rental company and get back to you.”
Do not provide an immediate answer.

In Case of Traffic Violations

If you incur a traffic violation such as speeding or illegal parking, the cost will be your responsibility.

• Appear at the police station listed on the parking violation notice and follow the required procedures.
• Pay any fines or penalties accordingly.

Note: Once the police notify us, we will contact the renter to confirm the situation.
